How we work

How we work with manufacturing.

  1. 01

    Shift-aware scheduling

Service at a plant happens when the recipient is on shift. We coordinate with HR or the plant manager so the service does not pull a foreman off the floor mid-line.

  2. 02

    Safety-protocol compliance

Servers arriving on a plant floor follow site safety rules. PPE, sign-in, and visitor escort handled the way the facility requires.

  3. 03

    Off-site option for sensitive matters

When service inside the plant would be disruptive or unsafe, we coordinate residence service or an alternate location. The affidavit still holds.

  4. 04

Direct billing to the corporate legal department

In-house counsel gets a single invoice for service across the company’s manufacturing footprint. Net 30, monthly cycle, one PO per quarter.

Why us

Why manufacturing firms choose SPS.

  • Plant safety rules followed correctly. Servers do not become a visitor-log problem.
  • Service scheduled around the shift, not around our convenience.
  • Direct relationships with corporate legal departments running multiple plants across Ohio.
  • Off-site alternatives ready when in-plant service would cause more problems than it solves.

FAQ

Questions manufacturing clients ask.

How do you handle service at a plant with active safety protocols?

Servers follow site safety rules: PPE, sign-in, visitor escort. We coordinate with the plant manager or HR contact so the service happens in a controlled way.

Can you serve a foreman without pulling them off the line?

We coordinate the timing with HR so service happens during a break or shift change. The foreman is not pulled off the line mid-task.

Do you handle service on the registered agent for a multi-state manufacturer?

Yes. Service at the registered-agent address on file with the Ohio Secretary of State, or at the location, whichever the case requires. The affidavit captures which method was used.

Can you serve papers at an off-site location if needed?

Yes. Residence service or service at an alternate location is fine when in-plant service would cause more problems than it solves. The diligence record supports the choice.

How do you handle OSHA matters specifically?

OSHA papers are served the same way other regulatory papers are. We coordinate with the plant’s safety officer so the recipient gets the documents and the operation gets to keep running.
