Process serving for legal services.

Most of our route is firms. Litigation paralegals, family-law associates, and in-house counsel send us papers because the affidavit comes back the way the clerk wants it.

Common matters

What we handle for legal services.

Summons and complaint

Personal service of the initial filing with a notarized affidavit formatted to Ohio Civ. R. 4.1. The default workhorse for any civil case opening.

Subpoenas

Witness subpoenas, document subpoenas, and deposition subpoenas served on individuals and businesses. We coordinate with calendars and document any refusal or evasion.

Motions and discovery

Service of motions, notices, interrogatories, and requests for production where the rule or the case demands proof of receipt beyond a certificate of service.

Family court papers

Divorce filings, custody petitions, contempt motions, and protection-order papers. Handled with the discretion these matters require.

Out-of-state subpoenas

Domesticated subpoenas from other states served under Ohio rules. Send us the domesticated copy and we serve and return as if it were a local filing.

Skip trace for hard-to-find parties

Address verification, social-graph search, and known-associate canvassing before the first attempt, so the affidavit lands with diligence on the record.

How we work

How we work with legal services.

  1. 01

    Same-day order acknowledgement

Every order arrives with a case reference and an assigned server by the close of the business day. You always know who has it and when attempts begin.

  2. 02

Affidavits formatted to Civ. R. 4.1

Notarized, with attempt log, GPS-stamped photos when applicable, and a diligence record if service has to escalate. Clerks across Ohio recognize the format.

  3. 03

    Direct billing to the firm

Net 30 invoicing for established firms. Flat-rate pricing posted online so the rate is on the desk before you order, not on the invoice three weeks later.

  4. 04

    One point of contact

Your firm gets the same dispatcher every time. No menu trees, no relay handoffs, no "we will check and get back to you" when the answer is on a desk in the same building.

FAQ

Questions legal services clients ask.

Can you serve same-day if we file in the morning?

Yes in Lucas, Wood, Hancock, Allen, and Fulton counties when the order arrives before noon and the address is good. The other six counties are next-business-day rush.

What do you need from us to start?

The documents to serve, the full name and last known address of the party, the case caption, and an email for the completed affidavit. Special instructions and prior service history help us route the order correctly.

How do you handle service on registered agents?

We serve at the registered-agent address on file with the Ohio Secretary of State. If the agent has moved or the registration is stale, we flag it and serve under the rule that fits.

Will the affidavit work in federal court?

Yes when the federal case is in the Northern District of Ohio. Federal service rules differ from Ohio Civ. R. 4.1 on a few points; we follow the federal rule when it applies and the affidavit is captioned accordingly.

Do you accept rush instructions after hours?

Voicemail and email go to the dispatcher overnight. Rush orders that arrive after hours start at 8 AM with priority dispatch. For genuine TRO emergencies, call the office line and you will get a callback within an hour.
